In Texas Hold-em each player is dealt two face down cards these are called your hole cards. Then there is a round of betting that begins with the person immediately to the right of the big blind. After that
betting round then 3 community cards
are dealt face up this is called the flop. Then there is a second round of betting that begins with the small blind. Next another community card is dealt face up called the turn card. A round of betting follows the turn card again starting with the
small blind. Lastly the 5th community card is dealt face up this is called the river card. The final round of betting is followed by the river card.
The player with the best hand then wins. The best hand is decided by the 5 best cards that a player can make using both the two hole cards and the five community cards.

In this instance all
players play the board 2 pair king's and 8's with an ace kicker and
therefore the pot is split three ways between player 1,2 and 3.
To clarify the blinds: The big blind is considered a full bet and the small blind is considered a half of bet. If the blinds are 15 and 30
and lets say the small blind is player 1 then player 1 puts out fifteen and the player immediately to the small blinds right puts out 30 (player 2) and player 2 is the big blind. The big blind is always the last person to act in the first betting round.
The dealer is always the last person to act in every other betting round other than the first.
For those looking for clarification on heads-up play the paragraph above equally summarizes it
with considering the dealer as the small blind. The dealer will act first
in the first round of betting and last in every other round.
